Siding Replacement in Charlotte, NC

Full tear-off, never a layover. Fiber cement, engineered wood, vinyl, and cedar repair on the older houses where matching an existing profile matters more than a brochure.

What we actually do

We strip the elevation down to sheathing, fix what is wrong underneath, and rebuild the whole wall as one system — house wrap, flashing, trim, siding. Siding installed over failing board hides the problem for about four years and then costs you twice.

  • James Hardie ColorPlus and LP SmartSide, factory-finished
  • Insulated and standard vinyl where the budget or the HOA calls for it
  • Cedar repair and milled matches on pre-1960 houses
  • Board-and-batten, shake gables, and column and soffit wrap
  • Rotten sheathing and framing repaired at the per-sheet rate printed in your contract

How a Charlotte siding job actually goes

Most of the houses we side were built between 1955 and 1995, and the two things that decide the job are what the original builder used for sheathing and how the water has been running off the roof for thirty years. We tell you which one you have at the walkaround.

  • Day 1 — dumpster set, landscaping covered, first elevation stripped
  • Day 1–2 — sheathing inspected and repaired, photos sent to you the same afternoon
  • Day 2–3 — house wrap and flashing, windows and doors re-detailed
  • Day 3–7 — siding and trim installed, elevation by elevation
  • Final day — caulk, touch-up, magnet sweep, walkthrough with your project manager

The Bellhaven Standard

Four promises. Each one names what we do if we miss it, because a guarantee that does not name a consequence is just a sentence on a website.

We start on the date in your contract

Not the week. The date. Material is on site before the crew is.

If we start late for any reason other than weather or a permit hold: money off the final invoice, applied automatically.

Your property is clean every evening

Debris hauled, beds raked, driveway and lawn magnet-swept before the truck leaves — not just at the end of the job.

Find a nail in your driveway after we have left for the day and we will pay for the tire.

One project manager, named on the contract

His name and cell number are on page one. He walks the job daily and he is the person who calls you with bad news.

If you cannot reach him within four business hours, call the owner's line — it is printed beside his.

Five-year workmanship warranty

On top of the manufacturer warranty, which we register in your name and email to you when the job closes.

We schedule a written reinspection at year two and we call you to set it. You do not have to remember.

Siding questions

If yours isn't here, ask the chat in the corner or just call — the same person answers both.

How long does full-home siding take?

Five to nine working days on a typical Charlotte house, weather included. We do not start a second house until yours is closed up.

Can you side over the existing boards?

We won't. If the old siding failed, something behind it is why, and covering it up means you pay for the same wall twice. Every job is a tear-off.

What if you find rot?

You see photos of it the same afternoon, and the repair is billed at the per-sheet and per-linear-foot rate already printed in your contract. Nothing gets renegotiated in your driveway.

Will the new siding match my neighbor's or my HOA's requirements?

We pull the HOA's architectural guidelines before we order material and submit the color and profile for you. It adds a week to the front of the schedule and saves a fight at the end.
