Storm Damage & Insurance Claims

Hail in April, straight-line winds in July — Mecklenburg County gets hit, and afterward come the door-knockers promising 'a free roof.' Here's the truth: insurance claims aren't magic, they're documentation. Adjusters approve what's proven. Our job is making your damage impossible to deny.

Rally's storm process: free inspection within 48 hours, every hail strike and wind crease photographed and chalk-marked, a damage report formatted the way adjusters actually read, and — this is the part that matters — we meet your adjuster on the roof to walk the evidence together. No exaggeration, no fraud, no games. Just the real damage, fully documented.

Plain-English claim guidance

You'll know what your deductible means, what ACV vs. RCV is doing to your payout, what supplements are (and when they're legitimate), and what timeline to expect. We never touch your claim money games — you pay your deductible, insurance pays the rest, and that's the law working as intended.

Questions

Straight answers

Does hail damage always total a roof?
No — scattered cosmetic dings may not qualify. Widespread functional damage (cracked mats, exposed fiberglass) usually does. Our documentation shows which one you actually have.
Will filing a claim raise my rates?
Weather claims are 'no-fault' in NC and typically don't raise your individual rate the way at-fault claims do — though regional storms can affect everyone's premiums regardless of filing.
How long do I have to file?
Most policies allow 1–2 years from the storm date, but evidence degrades fast. Inspect within weeks, not months.
My claim was denied — now what?
Denials are often documentation failures. We re-inspect, and when there's real damage, our report supports a re-open request. If there isn't, we'll tell you straight.
