Sod & Turf Installation

Sod is the closest thing landscaping has to instant gratification — brown to brilliant in one day. But the rolls are the cheap part; the result lives or dies on what happens underneath, especially in Charlotte clay that's been compacted by builders into something closer to brick.

Our installs start with killing off the failed lawn, grading out the lumps, and tilling in compost so roots have somewhere to go. Then fresh-cut sod — fescue for shade-leaning lots, TifTuf or Celebration bermuda for full sun and durability, zoysia for the best-of-both crowd — laid tight, rolled for contact, and soaked the same hour. You get a watering calendar for the critical first month and a 30-day check-in from us.

When real grass isn't the answer

Deep shade under mature willow oaks, dog runs, and postage-stamp city yards sometimes want artificial turf instead — modern products drain fast, stay cool-ish, and look shockingly real. We install both, so our recommendation is based on your yard, not our inventory.
